Readers vote the Honda Civic Hybrid wins the T3 Green Gadget of the Year, citing low emissions and fuel economy as their top reasons.

In the UK, the cleaner burning Civic Hybrid is exempt from the London Congestion Charge and even results in a reduced road tax of £15 (around $26); starting in April, the Civic Hybrid will have a road tax of zero.

The European Hybrid gets a makeover to its fascia, with redesigned body styling and updated elements to create a similar look to the Civic and the new Accord. New 5-spoke 15-inch alloy wheels and premium upholstered interiors round out the package. Like the previous version, the new European Civic Hybrid's batteries on this gas/electric hybrid will be under warranty for eight years, and Honda will even take care of the recycling for you. Now that's a deal that's hard to pass up.
