Cadillac SRX Crossover’s are ready to roll away from where you parked it.

The NHTSA reports that an unknown number out of 17,301 MY2004 Cadillac SRX crossovers have a faulty transmission shift lever. The lever can be moved from park with the ignition on without the brake pedal being held down. Sometimes, the park lever will gain Cogito and shift itself from park mode with the ignition turned off.

This, of course, presents a dilemma if you’re parked on a hill.
