Recall: MINI with too Small Brake Pads

The giants of the midget department of BMW may be coming with their laces untied.



BMW is recalling 2009 MINI John Cooper Works and JCW Clubman models because the front brake disc might be too small. MINI has stated that the current use of 16-incher discs instead of the required 17-inch discs could diminish braking performance under intense usage. No accidents or injuries have been reported, but BMW will replace parts as necessary free of charge.
