Toyota recognized the danger and has developed a rear window air bag to solve it.
If a rear collision occurs, the air bag falls from the roof lining above the rear window and spreads out to protect the heads of the rear passengers.
The air bag will appear in the iQ compact vehicle which will be introduced before the end of the year.
