Chevrolet Corvette Goes On Hiatus

General Motors has announced plans to pause production of the Chevrolet Corvette at the Bowling Green, Kentucky plant, for one week, from October 6 to October 13. Production will be slowed once production renews and some unlucky blue collars will be getting the axe.



Currently the Kentucky plant cranks out 18.5 Corvettes per hour. The slowed production will bring that down to 15 per hour with up to 75 people laid off.
