Nissan, apparently not content with its GT-R, intends to move the successor of its 350Z upmarket. The 370Z is to be a direct rival to the likes of the Porsche Boxster and the Audi TT.
Before all you diehard Z fans begin to moan about a shift to some pseudo sports/GT, relax. Nissan's push will come from offering class leading performance.
In fact, your beloved Z is likely to become the car you hardcore sporting types have always wanted. The 370 moniker denotes a move towards an even more powerful 3.7 liter motor. Likely coupled to a variant of the GT-R 7-speed dual clutch transmission, the car is set to become an all out sports car.
Our take? Rejoice, a great car will get better
