Even in the midst of its competitors offering 4-door, supercar like offerings, Ferrari's Luca di Montezemolo has emphatically stated that no such car will appear with a prancing horse on its flanks so long as he is in charge.

Instead, the future of Ferrari involves the incorporation of cutting edge tech, even including a KERS system like their F1 cars, to ensure that there cars will continue be able to deliver porformance in the wake of a shift towards greater efficiency.

Exclusivity will continue as well. Though the factories at Maranello could churn out up to 8,000 units, Ferrari would rather ensure the exclusivity of the barnd by holding production at their current, 7,000 unit levels.

The atelier program will expand as well. Allowing for any type of customization outside of that to the body and motor, it was recently expanded to include the 599GTB as well.

Our take? Ferrari will stick to its guns by doing what it does best. And it will be all the better for it.
