The first of three high power offerings of the Mk 6 Golf have officially been introduced both before and during the Paris Motor Show.

The next generation GTI boast more aggressive styling. The signature red stripe around the grill remains, flanked by smoked head lights and joined by new twin exhausts and diffuser at the rear.

Power is up to 210 horsepower from the carryover motor, once again coupled to either 6 speed manual or DSG transmissions. Power is once again transmitted to the front wheels with an electronic limited slip differential.

New however, is the adaptive chassis control (ACC) system borrowed from the Scirocco offering comfort, normal, and sport suspension settings.
