Honda Elements Recall by NHTSA

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has smacked Honda with a recall on it 2008 Honda Elements crossovers.



The recall is related to an improperly welded front bushing bracket on the rear suspension. Owners should stop driving the vehicles immediately until they have checked in with dealerships, or you might find your careening out-of-control on the road with no brakes.


241 units are affected, and owners should receive notice from Honda soon. For more information, the Honda recall number is 08-053 and the NHTSA’s vehicle safety hotline is at 1-888-327-4236 or online at http://www.safecar.gov/.
