If you drive a Hummer, regardless the model, then you don’t need us to tell you that you are getting abuse from Hummer "haters." These are folks who, at the very minimum, reportedly flipping the bird Hummer owners when on the road. Now there is even a website that caters only to Hummer haters, www.FuH2.com. We think you can figure out the words.
Still, it is getting serious. There is a report that two masked guys smashed out every window of a new Hummer, cut the tires and then scratched “For the environ” into the vehicle.
Problem is if the Hummer haters expect the abuse to get the Hummer lovers to give up their pride and joy, think again. People are an ornery lot, and attack folks' cars is like attacking their children. Never mind if said "child" weighs nearly four tons and drinks fuel like the administration burns through taxpayers' money. Until either there's a truly "fuel-efficient" Hummer (talk about oxymoron!) or the brand folds, road warriors from both sides will continue to give each other the finger both on the road and virtually.
