Bands go Biodiesel

Don't be surprised if your favorite bands tour less and less.

According to The Other Paper, Touring bands, especially the smaller ones, are suffering and are curtailing their travels or looking for other alternatives to fuel up. You might say they’re “Running on empty.”

So what are they doing to bring their music to the masses?
Many bands are simply traveling in smaller vehicles, bring less gear, or just stop touring altogether.

Then there are those bands that seem to push the envelope. For example, a lot has been written that waste vegetable oil (WVO) can be used in diesel engines. Thus some bands are getting on the road using WVO they get from restaurants.

More details can be found at the original article. Our take? Music is one of the few pleasures in life that people, no matter a musician or fan, will spend almost anything just to listen for a little while.

Without music. Things would be horrible.
