Biodiesel: U.S.'s Latest Export?

America’s economy is in the gutter while the auto industry has already found its way down into the sewers. Perhaps shipping biodiesel to Europe could provide this country with some much needed capital.

Innovation Fuels stuck 15,000 barrels of biodiesel fuel into a tanker last week and carted it off to Rotteram, the world’s largest market for biodiesel. Innovation Fuels produces biodiesels from nonedible oils, such as animal fats and used veggie oil.

European government mandates along with the stronger Euro make them a more lucrative target market.

Our take? All this talk about becoming energy independence and our “energy producers” are selling the goodies off. It just goes to show, money is the loudest talker.
