Though Acura's brass are keeping its information close, reports indicated that any new additions would likely be niche products. With three new cars covering everything from small to large, and two SUV/crossovers doing the same, the most likely direction for the next car would be in the form of a sporting coupe.
With the NSX likely to be a two place sports car, look for the new model addition to be along the lines of the old CL coupe. Namely, it will be a roomy 2+2 on a sedan derived chassis with sporting intentions. Perhaps the car will be more sporting even, and be a replacement for the RSX/Integra
Our take? Acura once found great success with sporty coupes, hopefully there will be a return of a car like the Integra, especially a Type-R
