Volkswagen announced that it will be acquiring Swedish truck maker Scania.
It says that Scania will continue to hold it own corporate headquarters as well as culture and profile. However, it is expected that the German auto maker will “fully consolidate” the company in the second half of this year.
Reports say that the deal is worth about $4.4 billion.
