Suzuki, in cooporation with General Motors, has developed a fuel cell-powered vehicle which it claims is able to provide a 150 miles of range with a 94 mph top speed.
Now the vehicle, dubbed the SX-4 FCV (fuel cell vehicle), has been allowed by the Japanese government to hit the public roads. Such an announcement is seen as one of many steps towards making the system commercially viable.
Our take? Suzuki looks to be a big player in the green car race, and no doubt GM looks to capitalize on Suzuki's development of the tanks for its own Chevrolet Volt hybrid and other future offerings.via Carkeys
