Unlike other automakers, the company's approach is to base its hybrid vehicles upon it all-electric architecture as opposed to developing a whole new system. Such a philosophy, it hopes, will reduce development time and costs, and creating a system more electric-oriented in terms of usage.
Thus the future Mitsubishi hybrid will be using a plug-insystem as well its own Li Ion battery design. It will be an electric first hybrid, its gas motor becoming secondary.
Our take? A hybrid Evo could be interesting,like having your cake and eating it too.
