New technology appears to be advancing at Chrysler in leaps and bounds.
The newest is from Continental Automotive Systems. CAS has developed a screen that allows the driver to be seeing one thing while the front seat passenger sees something entirely different all at the same time. Neither person sees what the other is seeing.
The display is part of a multimedia platform that Continental developed with Microsoft.
The system is currently available on Toyota’s Lexus LS 460 sedan in Japan as part of the car's infotainment system. Continental plans to introduce it in Europe next year before putting it in Chrysler models in 2010.
