Honda Launch India’s First Ever Hybrid Car
For the first time Indian consumers can buy a hybrid vehicle. The vehicle comes from Honda Siel Cars India and it is a Honda Civic Hybrid.
The car includes a 1.3 liter i-VETC engine that offers three stages of valve timing -- low speed, high speed, and cylinder idle mode and a compact electric motor. It is said that the car provides close to a 47 percent improvement in fuel efficiency than the regular 1.8 liter Civic AT. It can deactivate all four cylinders and operate only on the electric motor in certain cruising situations.
