A British manufacturer is claiming that its non-hybrid car, called the Axon, can achieve more than 80 miles per gallon.
The Axon is a two-door hatchback which can accommodate two adults and two children. The car uses conventional gas and includes a carbon fiber body so it is very light. In fact, it is half the weight of a conventional vehicle its size.
The manufacturer claims that it is twice as fuel efficient as the Prius, the carbon emissions are lower, and it sells for half the price.
Our take? It could be said that this car proves that the alternative to gasoline can be more gasoline.
