If you consider yourself a Benz fan but never heard of the A-Class and B-Class vehicle, don't be shocked. They're currently sold only across the pond. Or they were.

According to MarketWatch, both subcompacts are no more. Instead, they are to be replaced by a new group of vehicles to include a coupe, a cabriolet, a mini-van, and an off-roader (more likely a “soft” roader). It seems however, that that is the extent of Daimler will allow to be known at this point.

Our Take? Look for these now models to be in response to shifts within the American market.

This will be non-news to most Americans. I think the A and B classes were sold in Canada, but the smallest Benz we've ever known was and is the C Class.
