They say that one of the best ways to promote products is to participate in auto racing.
That’s exactly what Alpine Electronics, a Torrance, California based car infotainment manufacturer, is doing. The company has announced that it is sponsoring Andretti Green Racing (AGR) in the 2008 IndyCar Series.
The team will be traveling the country with members of its National Youth Leadership Institute. The group will attend six IndyCar Series races in a bus that features a complete Alpine audio-video and navigation system.
Alpine also said that it is supporting AGR in the National Hemophilia Foundation’s Team Hemophilia. Team Hemophilia raises money for and awareness of the Hemophilia community.
It is the fifth year Alpine has sponsored Andretti Green Racing. Alpine has been paired with driver Tony Kanaan for the second year. The series includes 16 races and concludes on September 7 in Chicago.
