Americans are like little kids. We like speed (velocity, not the drug). As they say, “Speed is king.”
So we are always looking for the fastest car in the market. That honor belongs to the Bugatti Veyron which can reach a speed of 253 miles an hour.
Now that’s fast. But now comes word that there’s a car that’s even faster.
It’s called, of all things, the “Faster One.” Developed by Weber Sports, the Faster One claims a top speed of 260 miles an hour. Power is provided by a 900 horsepower, 7.0 liter, V8 engine and can achieve 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.5 seconds.
The engine is coupled with a six-speed transmission and is all-wheel drive.
It's not, to be kind, the most attractive vehicle. In fact, the car is supposed to look ugly. (Look at the front fascia long). Still, if it’s speed you want instead of looks, you can buy it for $1.5 million (US).
