The German company, famed for its Mercedes-Benz brand, and also remembered for DaimlerChrysler (we're sure they would like to forget about this one), has established a joint venture with Hero Motor Corp. of India that will build commercial vehicles starting in 2010.
The venture will manufacture light, medium and heavy duty vehicles for the Indian market under a new brand name. The name has not been released.
