Details are sketchy. There are rumors persisting, for example, of F1 derived motors and flappy-paddle gearboxes. Toyota apparently feels that simply developing the car on the Nurburgring is not enough to ensure competitiveness for its car, it will be going a step further and entering a development mule into this season's ADAC Zurich 24h Race at the 'Ring.
Racing of course, will unveil weaknesses that would have otherwise gone unnoticed, and no doubt look for Toyota to advertise this development when the car is finally introduced.
