How the New Pontiac Solstice was a Bit Early

Automotive companies tend to release their cars amidsta fair amount of pomp and showmanship, but Pontiac's own marketing team has inadvertently thrown that convention to the wind.

What do I mean? Used as an advertisement image on the official Pontiac site, the two images of the 2009 Pontiac Solstice Coupe, which was recently unveiled at the New York Auto Show, are a tantalizing glimpse at what is on the horizon.

Spoiling the surprise on a banner ad is one of those things that doesn't need  lampooning to become universally hilarious - thanks for the chuckle, Chrysler!
