Succumbing to the need to offer more fuel efficient vehicle in the current automotive climate, Porsche is looking to take advantage of its recent controlling interest in Volkswagen to make use of Volkswagen's much heralded diesel motors.
With the Porsche Cayenne and VW Touareg sharing basic platforms, look for the former, and no doubt subsequent SUV offerings, to be the first to offer diesel power plants.
