Fans of the Ghostbusters films might be interested in knowing that the Ecto-1 used by the foursome is now available. Or at least a facsimile of it.

According to Oh Gizmo!, there's a guy who has converted his Surbaru Outback into a replica of the Ecto-1. The owner, who goes by the name 'Boomerjinks' over at the North American Subaru Impreza Owners Club (NASIOC) forum, showcases the car where he describes the various trophies it has won at car shows. Included are plenty of photos and stories about the car.

According to the postings, graphics for the car cost about $200, orange flashing light bars were purchased for $430 each, and all the decorative items were purchased at Home Depot.

Our take? Ghosts? Get real. Do we look like children to you? Now those flying cars from Blade Runner are a scream...!
