The concept, should it see the light of day, is expected in 2010 at the earliest.
Very little information has been given of the concept. It will most likely be based upon GM's current Delta platform which currently underpins the Vauxhall Astra.
Our take? Hopefully this will be a better competitor than Saab's previous offerings. Having lost its uniqueness after being acquired by General Motors, the marque has been mired in mediocrity.
There's hope though, that the latest Haldax all-wheel drive system is top notch, GM parts bin has a great set of small NA and turbo motors to draw from, and Saab themselves seem to have found some of that quirkiness and style of their heyday.
