The Camaro is expected to be in dealers’ showrooms the first quarter of 2009. That, according to pundits, puts the muscle car way behind its competitors or, heck, behind the times, period. It is believed that new fuel economy standards passed by Congress will adversely impact these cars success.
Sure, there is a lot of interest in the new muscle cars but they better get out pretty soon before potential buyers have a chance to take another look at those signs at gas stations that say $3 a gallon.
