Ever since the first James Bond 007 movie premiered in the 1960s, movie goers as well as car buffs have had their imagination captured by the vehicles that also “starred” in the films. Aston Martin was one of those vehicles.
Well, the Aston Martin continues to be used in James Bond movies and the public loves it. The latest is the 2008 Aston Martin DBS which appears in the James Bond film, "Casino Royale."
Aston Martin plans to make about 1,000 DBS models each year, with only 300 cars will be allocated to the U.S. during that time.
The car is now on tour in North America. Needless to say, the car is not equipped with everything shown in the movie. But it does include a $35,000 Jaeger LeCoultre watch that can lock and unlock the car. The Swiss-made watch is only available to DBS buyers. You could, though, see if one's drunk enough to auction it off on ebay.
A total of 32 North American dealerships will host the car during the year.
Our take? It's an Aston! Where do we buy tickets?
