Heavens to Betsy!  Rather, thanks Betsy for going to Heaven!  Since the beginning of the days of automobile and the first car named Betsy, we've come a long way in building our cars.  Take the 2009 Volkswagen Passat CC. She is a beauty!

The new Passat CC rides 2 inches lower than sister the Passat Sedan, and is set compete in the luxury sedan segment.  Automobile Magazine reports the CC has electronic helpers that offer assistance in ways that to date, we thought only Rosie the Robot on the Jetsons could master.

Do you practically bite your lower lip off in the attempt to parallel park?  Pucker up!  The Passat CC will do it for you!  That's right, big boy, hands-free parking.  Sloppy driving got your friends biting their nails to the quick as you veer into your neighbor's lane on the highway?  Heck, the Passat CC has lane departure prevention.  Tell your friends to lighten up!  This feature doesn't just warn you you're about to enter another lane; it actually steers your car back into the proper lane.  Not enough to convince you?  How about the rear view camera to avoid hitting children and pets as you're backing up, heated and cooled front seats, and heated rear seats?  Cool in the summer, warm in the winter.  Oh, and there are plenty of cup holders too for the rest of the family.
