There appears to be a very new concept drifting through the design departments of American auto makers these days. What is that concept? Style sells the car. All we can say to that is, "Duh!"
At last month's North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan, two Cadillacs and a concept car from Chrysler won the first design prizes.
The Cadillac CTS-V was selected “The Best Production Car” for 2008. Featuring a 550 horsepower engine from the Chevrolet Corvette, this high-end model is a step up from the CTS.
The Cadillac CTS Coupe was chosen as “The Best Concept Car” and with good reason. We drooled when we saw the images before the embargo lifted, and speculation has it that GM may consider a convertible version. Yum.
Finally, the Chrysler ecoVoyager won the prize for the “Best Concept Truck.”
