Maxima was recently named the "Motorist Choice Awards" Luxury Mid-Size Car winner by IntelliChoice.com and AutoPacific.  Maxima also won AutoPacific's 2007 Vehicle Satisfaction Award (VSA) for luxury mid-size cars.

For 2008, Maxima carries over after a major update for the 2007 model year with an aggressive exterior and a sporty yet luxurious interior with a high-quality look and feel.  Maxima is powered by an award-winning 255-horsepower 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine mated to a standard Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission).

The starting Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for the 2008 Nissan Maxima 3.5 SE with Xtronic CVT is $28,130.  The 2008 Maxima 3.5 SL with Xtronic CVT is priced at $30,380.

For 2008, a Platinum Edition Package is available on both SE and SL models and features driver memory features (includes memory driver's seat, memory outside mirrors and memory steering wheel), driver's seat power lumbar support, auto-dimming outside mirrors, HID Bi-Xenon headlights, Bluetooth? Hands-free Phone System, heated steering wheel and reverse sonar system.  The Platinum Package represents a total of $1,350 in savings (versus ordering features by separate options or packages).
