According to the post, General Motors plans to really give a boost to the luxury sedan as well as the upcoming Chevrolet Corvette Blue Devil aka "Z07".
The CTS-V engine will generate some 600 horsepower while the Z07 busts out 700 horses, easily overpowering offerings from BMW, Audi, and Mercedes-Benz. The BMW M3 and Audi RS4, for example, have engines that burst out to 420 horsepower while the C63 AMG from Mercedes-Benz offer only 503 horsepower.
Other features of the Cadillac CTS-v include Brembo brakes (of course), spoilers, and a new grille. Full details can be found at the link. Our take? The CTS is Cadillac's best selling model, the first truly worthy competitor against Germany's best. GM realizes the fact and is pulling all stops to keep it in front of the pack. We won't be surprised, though, when--not if--the competition brings out their big guns in the near future. Stay tuned!
