2007 Kia Rio Prize for "The Power To Surprise" Sweepstakes

CARSON, Calif., May 30, 2007 -- Car Pros Kia handed over the keys to a brand new 2007 Kia Rio to Brenda Flores of Carson, Calif., the April winner of the "The Power to Surprise Sweepstakes: The Great Kia Car Giveaway" on Tuesday, May 29th at the dealership.



The program, in which fifteen Los Angeles-area Kia retailers teamed up with KVEA/Telemundo, will give away one Kia Rio each month from April through August of this year.

"We are happy to be part of this promotion and to be able to give away five 2007 Kia Rios in the greater Los Angeles area," said Greg Silvestri, director, regional operations for the Western Region for Kia Motors America. "We have always been committed to our customers, and are especially excited to be able to further develop a relationship with the Spanish-speaking community."

The new car promotion will run in three-week increments each month. The sweepstakes dates are: April 9-29; May 7-30; June 11 -- July 1; July 9-30; August 6-26. The program was created by local Kia retailers in an effort to continue building relationships with the Spanish-speaking community.

KVEA, "Telemundo 52" is an NBC-owned and operated television station in the Los Angeles area, and is the West Coast flagship station of the Telemundo network. Telemundo solely provides Spanish-language television programs to its audience.
