So why should people be surprised that automaker Honda is taking that step forward by releasing an Accord that runs on diesel, especially one that get s62.8 miles a gallon!
C net News reports the car is expected on our terrain by 2010. And it is said, that with mileage figures like that, this Honda Accord is about as "clean" as the new Toyota Prius.
On regular diesel, that is. This Accord can also run biodiesel which makes it cleaner than the Prius!
And as car enthusiasts know, this Accord will be more powerful than the regular gasoline due to diesel's traditional torque advantage.
Our take? Imagine that! A car that makes the greenies happy and still revs up the pulse of the power enthusiasts. Personally, we can't wait for the Civic Si version.
