1948 Mercedes-Benz A320 Prototype. Sold For $275,000

It was designed to revive the image of Mercedes-Benz as a luxury car manufacturer following World War II. However, the car never went into production, eclipsed, instead, by the 300-series. The prototype vehicle was found in the 80s in terrible shape in Indonesia and restored by a businessman.

He later sold the concept for a massive sum of $275,000 at auction.
