If you own a 2006 Honda Civic, a 2002 Land Rover Freelander, or 2006 Mercedes-Benz, you may want to head to your dealership as soon as possible.

The Gazette, a Canadian news source, recently published an article warning consumer about recalls on all three automakers' vehicles. The battery system for the Honda Civic hybrid could occur if a hefty individual sat in the back seats where the battery is located. (Pictured is a standard Civic.) An incorrectly attached harness in the Honda Accord to launch the airbags unexpectedly.

The brake lights on the Freelander may continue to stay on, confusing other drivers. Ford Motor *** which owns Land Rover, states it was caused during the vehicle’s assembly.

Mercedes-Benz has to contend with window shield wipers. According to the recall, the insulation for their switch might deteriorate and cause a problem.

More details can be found at the article. Our take? Today's cars are more sophisticated than the computers that landed men on the moon. Thankfully, dealerships are just a few miles (or kilometres) away. As always, we recommend owners schedule to see their dealerships as soon as possible.
