For those of you too young to remember (that’s like, over fifty percent), the CRX was a two-door hatch that went on sale over in the states around 1980. Prized for its even now-staggering 50 miles-per-gallon range, the compact, in its Si trim, was especially prized by enthusiasts. Even the base model was considered quite nimble for its class.
Lassa waxed eloquent about his own 1987 CRX. He then shot down the rumor mill that, again, Honda was looking to bring the compact back.
Sorta. He did point out the new Fit could easily be used as the basis for another CRX. Our take? To paraphrase Jerry Maguire (Tom Cruise) from the self-titled movie, “Show me the CRX.”
