We previously reported that Hyundai Motor Co. may have been a contender in acquiring Chrysler. Well, it looks like that possibility (at least for the moment), has been nixed.
Hyundai has come out swinging, denying any interest in the troubled automaker. It felt that it had to respond after a report in the London Times claimed that Hyundai was a potential bidder for the troubled American automaker.
Our take? We're not surprised. As we previously stated, such a merger made no sense given Hyundai's current issues with its unions and CEO scandal.
