BMW and Hi-Tech. The Love Affair Continues

People who buy BMWs are crazy about new technology and media and there is a study that proves it.

The Scarborough Research/RAB Automotive Study shows that American BMW owners, indeed, love technology. They are more likely to purchase such things as MP3 players, GPS devices, and more, as well as media products like HDTV and TiVo than the average consumer.

The survey revealed that this demographic buys products off the Internet, has a high speed DSL or cable intenet connection, owns a digital video recorder, uses video-on-demand, downloads music off the Internet, owns an MP3/iPod, and has a personal digital assistant.

Our take? Duh! It makes sense. The people who buy BMWs are affluent. No getting around that. And they have a whole lot of disposable income. Makes sense that they would buy the luxury stuff and the luxury stuff now features the new technology.
