So we’re not totally surprised that Men and Motors reported a survey asking men if they preferred driving their cars versus spending “quality” time with their significant others.
According to Discovery Turbo, over 95 percent of those surveyed viewed driving a car as a means of expressing their freedom. (Apparently there’s some truth to that saying about “ball and chain”.) Because of such feelings, 55 percent acknowledged they’d rather be racing a supercar on a fast track than be with their lovers. Also, 44 percent said they’d skip dinner with their girlfriend while 80 percent love to drive to work because it gave them a chance to get away from her nagging.
(Note that all the stated percentages fell if said girlfriend was Jennifer Aniston.)
Our take? We’re not showing this posting to our female co-workers, girlfriends, and wives.
