Cars that are currently in production and sold in at least five countries on two continents were eligible. Now the list of finalists for the third annual World Car of the Year Awards is down to 10.
The jury, composed of 45 automotive journalists from around the world, selected and will rate each vehicle in terms of its overall merit, value, safety, environmental responsibility, emotional appeal, and significance.
Winners will be announced during a press briefing at the New York International Auto Show on Thursday, April 5, 2007.
