Ahead of its official debut, photos of the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class popped up on the internet, showing both the exterior and interior. Although we recently got a glimpse inside the new model, exterior shots were non-existent.
The leaked photos showed off the new model’s curves and lines, showing a blend of classic Mercedes-Benz styling with a more modern take. The 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class builds off of the successes of the recently-launched S-Class, implementing the same technology and luxury. A new grille can be seen on the new C-Class, which may house a new system for active aerodynamics.
As these photos have come to light, Mercedes-Benz may move up the unveiling of the new C-Class. We still don’t know what will be under the hood and other technical data, but we believe that the new model will borrow engines from both the A- and B-Class models. From our own look inside the new C-Class, we though the redesign of both the exterior was modern and fresh, while the interior offered a more streamlined and light design.
We know a coupe model has already been given the green light, and we expect to see the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG successor with a 4.0-liter supercharged V-8 engine that delivers up to 500 horsepower to arrive sooner rather than later.
