The 2014 Nissan Pathfinder pricing has been released, and all models will see a bump of $150. An entry-level Pathfinder S model will start at $29,710. If you want four-wheel drive on your seven-passenger crossover, the price goes up to $31,310. The top of the range 2014 Pathfinder Platinum 4WD starts at $42,210 after delivery, and includes: navigation, a 13-speaker premium audio system; heated and cooled seats; a heated steering wheel, and more. It also includes Nissan’s Around View Monitor, which provides a camera-based, virtual 360-degree view of the Pathfinder, and is a big help in snug parking spaces
All 2014 Pathfinder models are powered by a 3.5-liter V-6 engine capable of 260 hp, while a new Pathfinder Hybrid employs a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor. That drivetrain is capable of 250 hp, and increases city fuel economy significantly, from the 19/20 mpg front-wheel drive/all-wheel drive from the regular Pathfinder, to 25 mpg city. The Hybrid and front-wheel drive Pathfinder models receive an identical 26 mpg highway, with the all-wheel drive model getting an estimated 25 mpg city. The Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid has not yet been priced, but it is expected to command a $3,000 premium over regular Pathfinder models.
