The first ad for the all-new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has been released, focusing on the new design, and capturing the essence of the vehicle with quick glances at the new frame. Quickly, it jumps from sitting in a garage to a race track, giving the viewer a taste of its power and capabilities. Although the video itself is only 28 seconds long, it leaves you wanting more.
The teaser grabs your attention like a subliminal message hidden in a video and refuses to let go. Chevrolet is letting the new 2014 Stingray speak for itself. “Beautiful form follows performance driven function,” says Kirk Bennion, exterior design manager.
The interior as well as exterior of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette has gone through a complete redesign to improve comfort and give the 2014 Stingray a sense of refinement. What used to be covered in plastics have been replaces with real aluminum and carbon fiber trim, with a leather-covered dash.
From what we’ve seen, the 2014 Corvette Stingray, celebrating its 60th anniversary, has finally gotten it right. While performance has rarely been an issue since its 1953 introduction, the Corvette has rarely matched its foreign rivals in refinement. Chevrolet has listened to its customers and produced a vehicle that can truly go up against the best cars in the world and succeed. We can’t wait to drive it.
