“Cozy” was the first word that entered my mind when I sat in the 2010 Ford Fusion hybrid.
The steering wheel, instrument cluster, dash, and center console seemed to embrace me. Same with the seats and their thick side bolsters. I believe the thick paneling lent to the impression. Various passengers who sat on the passenger side and the back row expressed the same sensation, all in a positive manner.

I found the soft and hard plastics competitive with the rest of the vehicles in this segment with the fit and finish matching the segment leaders (Honda Accord and Toyota Camry). My Fusion had the leather option which was stitched on the steering wheel as well as the seats. Ford used cloth instead of “mouse fur” as the headliner, a nice touch.

The dash “display” was colorful and easy to read. Drivers and the front passenger will find the control buttons and knobs on infotainment system controls easy to discern and use. The large glove box, storage tower at the base of the center console, and the “map box” on top of the dash provided plenty of storage opportunities.
