Beauty, as they say, is in the eye of the beholder. I found the cliche applied all-too-true to the RDX.Colleagues and car enthusiasts were almost predictable in focusing on the front fascia and, of course, the large “faceplate”. Non-car folks aka potential buyers, had a more varied opinion. Most were fine with the faceplate; in fact, most didn’t comment about it until I pointed it out. What drew their eyes was the size of the RDX. Apparently, they had been fooled believing it to be smaller especially with its more swept-back design.
I, personally, like the front fascia. The blackened grill, framed by the omnipresent chrome, reminds me of a knight’s helm seen in medieval fairs and movies. The rest of the vehicle sweeps back in a similar fashion as the revised Honda CRV. Unlike the CRV, the RDX’s sides are sculptured for more visible interest.

Looks small from the outside, but it’s actually spacious on the inside. There’s another post sharing an in depth review of the Acura RDX here in automotive.com. You can read that after browsing this one so that you will have a pretty clear idea about this specific vehicle.
