Wheels24 snapped a few shots of the upcoming Subaru WRX while it raced one of its competitors, a Volkswagen Golf R32.
Some of the changes include a new grill(!) and a transformation into a hatchback ala the B5 Concept. Interestingly, there’s even a discussion that Subaru may drop the Impreza name though it’s unknown if that applies to North American models.
Possible engine details were provided for the international model.
Our take? We’re still waiting for a 3-door hatch version, especially the STi trim.
