General Motor’s Saturn Aura (pictured), the Honda Fit, and the Toyota Camry were named finalists for the 2007 North American Car of the Year award. GM’s Chevrolet Silverado pickup, Ford’s Edge crossover, and the Mazda CX-7 were named finalists for truck of the year. A panel of 49 U.S. and Canadian automotive journalists selected the finalists. The winner will be announced on January 7 at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
